Easy Sprouting Directions Using a Jar
The Spring rain has come and is turning seeds into beautiful sprouts that will grow into the food that nourishes our body and souls. Roots, seeds and sprouts are extremely nutrient-dense. SEEDS, including sprouted nuts, are more like a tiny plant, making them more digestible and unlocking more of their nutrients. And sprouts, are a powerhouse of their own! It’s been said that sprouts can have 4 to 6 times more nutrients than the mature leaves of the same plant. Plus, they taste delicious on salads and sandwiches and can add a spicy flavor, or crunchy texture to any boring recipe!

Step 1: SOAK

Step 2: RINSE
Twice a day, refill jar with cool water, swirl, and drain. Invert jar and prop at an angle in a sink or bowl.
Step 3: ENJOY
Your sprouts will be ready to eat in 3 to 5 days. Refrigerate to store. (Sprouts can be refrigerated for up to two weeks in a sealed container. Sprouts store best when they are fairly dry- do not store immediately after rinsing.
